Lombok, Longmu Island, an island in Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia, is one of the Sunda Islands. The Longmu Strait faces Bali in the west, Sumbawa in the east, the Java Sea in the north and the Indian Ocean in the south. The area is 5435 square kilometers. There are two mountains running through the island; the southern mountains are limestone hills, 716 meters above sea level, and the Rinjani volcano in the northern mountains is 3726 meters above sea level. As far as tourism resources are concerned, Longmu Island has comparable seaside scenery with Bali. It has clear blue water, magnificent Linjiani active volcano and unique Sazak traditional customs and culture.
