Huadian Shijiazhuang Luhua Thermal Power Co., Ltd. plans to build a 4 x 330 MW subcritical coal-fired air-cooled heating unit, which will be constructed in two phases. The factory is located in Dalizhuang Village, about 2.5 km south of Luquan City, 11 km east of Shijiazhuang City. The first phase of 2 x 330 MW project was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on July 8, 2009. It is scheduled to be put into operation in June, 2011 and in August, 2011.
